Meet CLIQD's founder

“I started my fashion career as a designer in Sydney with my own line of limited-edition pieces. I had lots of ideas, but no idea how to bring them to life.

I couldn’t afford to a full-time pattern maker. And whenever I did hire a freelancer, something got lost in translation and the patterns were never what I had envisioned.

I was so frustrated by the lack of control over my designs that I decided to learn pattern making. And loved it."

"After studying at Central Saint Martins and FIT, I spent the next 10 years creating patterns for some of the biggest names at Paris and London Fashion Week – including Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham.

I also mentored many talented, young fashion designers who were struggling with pattern making – like I used to. They didn’t have the technical skills to create a block to use as the base for their pattern. And they didn’t know how to turn their design into a pattern."

CLIQD is born

"So, I created CLIQD pattern kits. The first – and only – kit that gives fashion designers, students and home sewists the pattern making skills they need to bring their fashion designs to life.

It’s the kit I wish I had when I began my career as a designer.”
